Kites have evoked mixed responses among the movie lovers globally prior to its much awaited release across the world. Some attribute it as a roller coaster movie with execllent story line. A deviation from the conventionl song and dance Bollywood creations, ‘Kites’ is reportedly a new step into the international venue.

The Hindi version directed by Anurag Basu too gained praises owing to its display of a variety of genres whether it be romance, music, or action. However it might seem hardly appealing to those who dislike romance.

The movie also receives some serious criticism from a fraction of viewers. Lack of a proper story line and unimpressive performances by the lead actors have also been points of criticism. However, the overall response to the movie ‘Kites’ seem to be encouraging as it is given tag of being a thorough entertainer.
